Most people who know me know that I love Harry Potter, and I decided my blog should reflect that, so here is my first ever Harry Potter related digital painting. The Illustration Friday prompt was ‘villain’ so naturally Voldemort was the first thought that entered my mind.

Finally today I got around to doing a sketch daily. The theme was board games, and I had a good time playing around with it. My first thoughts were of playing Sorry with my siblings when I was a kid, so I decided to digitally paint this.
I feel like this prince went a lot better than my first. He has tons of different textures wich made for some definite challenges. While there are some changes I would make to it if I had the time, I think it turned out pretty well for my second painting of a person.
I’ve never really enjoyed drawing people, but this was more fun to make than I expected. Obviously mine is the guy on the left, reference on the right
